Seasonal Confusion Disorder

The weather is Michigan is not confused. Here are a couple of pictures as proof. The line of trees reminds me so much of one on 83 north of Wooster (north of Les Maust's farm) that we loved so much. Here, in a metro area, we only have to walk to the end of our cul de sac to see it. The second picture is of the leaves on our pond. And they have only begun to turn. Much work ahead of us. Nevertheless, waiting in line at the post office this morning, I observed the red/white/blue fireworks-style metalic things hanging from the ceiling and listened to (or tried NOT to listen to) "Silent Night" coming from the speakers. Is it the Fourth of July or Christmas? Neither, and certainly not both! Let's enjoy fall as fall, easy to do on a day like this.
