North, South, East and West

Tomorrow we're off to Denver to take care of Aunt Ruth's estate affairs and to have a memorial service for her. We anticipate several full days of work and an afternoon of pleasure with her wonderful friends. Then, if COW does well in the sweet sixteen/elite eight in Rochester this weekend, we will head off across the country to Salem VA to cheer them on even further. Next, backtracking and veering north, we will visit Grand Rapids to see some beloved ones. Lastly, home in time for the rest of the semester. Not the most efficient of itineraries, you say. You are right, but that's how it is. I'm proof that God doesn't waste the detours of our lives. And probably by the end of the break, we should know a bit more about next year's destinations for J and E.
