Benefits of cleaning the garage
1) a clean garage
2) knowing that we have now cleaned and decluttered every square inch of our house--the garage was the last on the list
2) knowing that many of the boxes left after the cleaning, now stacked neatly in three places (one of which is still in the garage), belong to daughter # 2 who will do her own cleaning/decluttering when she comes home for a brief visit in June
4) knowing that a few nice items can be taken to Goodwill
5) finding Chuck's baseball mitt, long given up for lost, in the back corner of a garage cupboard along with his old Northview CMA softball uniform -- will wonders never cease :)

I'm missing a catcher's mitt. Maybe it will turn up in Ohio.

You mean you didn't find it when you cleared out your home in Poway a couple of years ago? :)
